If you'd like to try online counselling, you'll need to sign up for a free encrypted email account from www.safe-mail.net - in accordance with BACP guidelines, all online counselling content must be encrypted. It's very quick and easy, then just add my email address to your contacts list: offload@safe-mail.net. During registration when Safe-mail asks for your email address, it means a new user name of your choice for Safe-mail, not your personal email address. There's a choice of 'interfaces' - 'Modern' is user-friendly. Unless you log in to your free Safe-mail email account at least once per month, it will be automatically deleted. You can always open another free one if required.
You can now send your first email to me at offload@safe-mail.net. Use around 500-800 words to tell me about your current issues and a little about your history and I will respond to your first email(free) within 24-48 hours.
It's important that you read about safeguarding our work as well as my Terms of Service. This information can be found in the links above.
If we agree to continue working together, I'll email you a registration form. Once it's been accepted, you are free to send me your next email and payment via paypal (£25 for each counselling response). It's entirely up to you how frequently you wish to communicate, although counselling is more likely to be effective when engaged in regularly. From time to time we will review and discuss how your counselling is progressing.
