Clients are asked to familiarise themselves with the services provided by Offload online counselling by reading the pages on this site and the Registration Form and if they wish to continue to receive online counselling beyond the first free response, to complete and return via Safe-mail the Registration form which will be emailed to them.
Clients from outside the UK are advised to check current laws governing receiving psychological therapy outside of their country or state, particularly if they are residents of Canada and some parts of the U.S.A.
Offload online counselling cannot offer emergency or crisis support and recommends that clients who are in crisis contact their GP, the Samaritans, Befrienders or a friend or relative.
There are some circumstances wherein online counselling may not be appropriate and Offload online counselling will advise clients if this is the case and aim to offer support to clients seeking other appropriate services.
Offload online counselling is the private online practice of Helen Glatt Dip. Couns. During their counselling all clients will be offered regular reviews with the aim of providing a service which is of benefit to the client. In line with the ethical guidelines of the counselling profession, clients are not encouraged to pursue or continue with counselling unless there is sound justification. Should clients wish to terminate their counselling at any point, they are free to do so, but it is preferable that they email the service to confirm this, if possible. Offload online counselling also has the option of terminating the services offered or informing clients that online counselling cannot be offered to them.
